You've inspired me. I'm gonna do the same thing except i'm going to wire it into my alarm and remote start, so when it locks/unlocks/triggers. They turn on for a moment.

I think I'll put some red ones in the headliner, by the windshield, so when it's going off, my cab turns red... I'll also keep the led's under the cab red.

To wire the alarm, I would imagine on the control box there is a wire going out to my parking lights. If I splice into that, and run it to the LED's.. It should work, right? Or am I being to simple about it? Of course, I will also ground the lights and such. But as a power source, would that work?
