To wire the alarm, I would imagine on the control box there is a wire going out to my parking lights. If I splice into that, and run it to the LED's.. It should work, right? Or am I being to simple about it? Of course, I will also ground the lights and such. But as a power source, would that work?

Should work great with lights like the hub glow kits, or similar ... but not with the UFO kit ...

Explain the UFO kit to me please. I'm not sure how it's different. I did however plan on only using a single color of LED's.

Thats the multi color kit under my truck with its own control system ...
whereas the hub glow has only a control module you could swap for Alarm commands ...

Well, what if I wired into the control system, so it takes commands from two sources?...

Because I would imagine it could work, just as long as it isnt taking information from both sources at once.
