Hahahaha........ relax bro! We know what the OP posted, besides, isn't this forum really about bouncing ideas, talking out loud, sharing experices, and trying to build our trucks. Maybe Kenny's pics might convince the OP to go ahead and lower his ride. Anyways, best of luck to the OP.O.P. says OE tires are too small and he's at stock height.
Wouldn’t those be a bit big on a 2wd?Thats a personal opinion but 275/75 is a popular size to use without much fear of rubbing. 285/75 is also popular but there could be some rubbing on stock suspension height
1998 GMC Sierra 1500 2wd extended cab. Stock height with 15x7 stock wheels. What size tires look the best? The 235/75r15 that are currently on it look small.
Thanks,
I’m running 275/60s on my lowered square body. Does anyone have pictures of a 2wd obs, stock height with something around a 265/75r15 or 255/70r15It's so hard to beat that 275/60 15 with a lowering!!!!!
just trying to feel the wheel well out some more. Iv seen some of these 2wd trucks with too big of tires and it kills the look of the truck. Just trying to see some other options and try to find a happy mediumO.P. says OE tires are too small and he's at stock height.
So, what are you looking to do? Taller or wider or both?
275 60 15 is smaller, about 28 and change...
OE tires are about 29" tall.
30x9.50r15 fit very well.
31x10.50r15 look tough.
265 75 15 are equivalent to 31's
Looking through threads for tire size on my build. I really like what you’ve done to your truck. Well done!275/60/15. 2 inch drop in back.
