I'm running 2 Kicker CVT 12"s in my '98 in a downfire probox. Being a Kicker dealer and a Probox dealer, it was a no brainer! haha Probox makes boxes to fit under the ECSB OBS trucks for 1 10", 1 12", 2 10" and 2 12". I can get any of those boxes and ship if anyone is interested I can check my inventory and see what all I currently have.
And just to help out a few of the questions in here, the post in the jack box can be pulled with a pair of vice-grips/channel locks or something of the sort. Usually takes a bit of work though. And someone asked about the Kicker CVX fitting under the rear seat, and without raising the seat in some manner, that sub is too deep to fit.
As far as matching up a sub/amp combo, always use the RMS wattage of the sub as stated earlier, but be sure that you match up with a correct ohm load as well.
If anybody has any questions, let me know!

I posted a pic of my box on the last page. It fit my 93 EC but it doesnt fit my 96 EC with third door. Do the ones you sell fit with a third door?

All of the Probox's fit 88-98 ECSB, whether it be 3rd door or not. What was causing yours not to fit your '96??

Also, just looked back at your post with the pic of the box, and we used to sell that box years ago, but actually had a lot of complaints about the subs getting kicked and what not. Never really a fitment problem out of them, other then the front of the box sticking out past the seat a bit.

Well the box I have was made back before they put 3rd doors on ECs, so it was designed to go wall to wall. The trucks with a 3rd door have this little beauty bolted to the floor on the passenger side.

So I got out my jigsaw and started hacking away today.

Made a hole,

Then I took the piece I cut out and blew it apart and put it back together upside down and backwards.

Glued and screwed it back inside the box.

I need to clean it up a bit and run some sealer around it and piece the carpet back together and it will be good to go. Still would rather have a downfire box-maybe that will be my next project.

So I got out there this morning and finished up the wiring, tied up all the loose ends and such.

While I was doing that, I also got the box sealed and redid the carpet.

Between all these pics I disassembled the doors and ran my speaker wire all the way to the speakers, fished the back speaker wiring out of the sidewell and hooked that up and finally had sound! Except when I tried to play a CD. After a bit of head scratching I pulled the HU to see if I had done what i thought I had. Sure enough I had hooked up the amp turn on wire to the antenna signal wire. Hooked it up to the OTHER blue wire and it all worked. Real well in fact. Im happy now. Well, for a while anyway.....
