Under seat Glovebox Question

I remember when the Chrysler minivans first came out, back in 1984, and seeing that they had a glovebox that was a drawer under the passenger bucket seat. Seems like a great idea for my standard cab, and I wonder if anyone has tried this idea, going to a junkyard and getting one of those gloveboxes, and fitting it into our trucks. I have the 60/40 bench if that makes any difference.

that actually sounds like good food for thought. I know that a lot newer minivans have them to. next time that I go to j/y & have time, i'll have to pull a couple & see they look
