i never remember how to explain it but on the ext and crew cabs when the rear of the cab kinda reverbs or ummm slaps idk the correct word for it. since its one 3 sets of mounts instead of two it lashes or whatever and they are hydraulic so they absorb the impact and make a better ride. honestly look it up because i sound like an idiot. i know they help ive used them before.

Same concept as a semi, the hydraulics are basically little shock absorbers for the cab so its like it is still mounted with 2 sets of mounts and the back is allowed to move freely in a sense instead of being mounted solid and causing the cab to twist/flex

Interesting may have to look into that. Wonder what they cost.
