I have a 1995 GMC C1500 Sierra 5.0 5 speed rcsb.
Was at the parts store both Auto zone & Advance auto both couldn't tell me what brake shoes I need for the rear drum brakes.
So My ? is does anyone know what size brake shoes my truck takes?

I know I can take them off an take in but my wife will be leaving early A.M. so it only leaves me my truck to run out an get what I need,
Really need to get this done this weekend!!!
Thanks for any help guy's!!
Lance.

Pull a wheel and measure the width of the shoes or the diameter of the drum.

Look in your glove box for the RPO codes JB5 or JB6.

JB5: 10" rear drums
JB6: 11" rear drums

This ^^^ and your RCSB should have JB5.

Also this:
You must be registered for see images attach

(By the way, that chart is from a 1994 manual; 1988-1991 regular cab 1500's have 1" thick rotors unless they were optioned with HD brakes JB6.)
