I would like to replace these front brake dust shields on my 1998 K1500. However... I cant for the life of me find a company that makes an aftermarket replacement and the AC Delco replacement is discontinued.

I attached a picture of what came off my truck. It's held down by the unit bearing bolts.

Dorman does not even make a replacement... I am at the point where I am looking for something that's close to modify with tin snips. Right now it's something off of a 1999 Escalade. Looking at the pictures I may be able to modify it to fit...

Can anyone help me?

Mine were pretty bad last time I did my brakes. I had already replaced the shields once, which was with dealer parts. I hit them with a wire wheel, and then painted them with a cold galvanizing compound and then black paint, so they stand out. I have not looked at them recently. I wonder what they look like now.

That's kinda weird that Dorman doesn't have them.... they have them for my 8-lug truck.

I would have expected your shields to look more like mine. Yours look like they hardly cover anything.
