S10 CONVERTER YEARS

BUYING A NEW TRANNY AND GONNA PUT AN S10 CONVERTER IN WHILE I AM PULLING. I HAVE A 1991 GMC C1500 / 700R4. What year would I be looking at on s10's that would fit? Thanks!

I have always heard that you want one from a an SS model, such as a 97 ss s-10.

Or just buy a real stall, I got one for $120 for my 1/2 ton. 2500 stall lockup. Got it on ebay with free shipping. Can't beat that. Actually, i still have it.
