New to the chevy side and definitely don't have alot of mechanical knowledge. Just bought it about three weeks ago and it looks like the kid spliced and diced alot under the hood. It's a 5.7 and wondering if there's a way to find out what I'm missing so I can get my truck running right. Also where I can find the proper air filter housing instead of this one which I know is not right.

I'm just trying to know what I'm missing that way I can go ahead and find the parts. In my area chevy trucks are so popular my junk yards are stripped naked of chevy so I can't even look at a junk truck to figure it out
Well In that case i would suggest downloading a 95 service manual from the forum and Google 95 or 94 pics of the engine bay. I would also go on you tube and look up 1 road. The guy name Jimmy has a 95 suburban and normally tinkers with the engine bay. It sucks but you'll be able to piece together what all your missing from all the random sources. As for the obvious your missing a intake duct to finder, air pan, tbi adapter spacer for the air dam and possibly a pcv hose or fittings.
I could be more help if you had a 5.7 vortec.
