Turns out to be an intake manifold leak.

I bought the Fel Pro gaskets:
Intake manifold
Valve Covers
TBI to Manifold

ORings Fuel Line to TBI

Stant SuperStat and gasket.

Gray RTV that goes in my caulking gun.

The only good writeup I found on here is for the 96+ so lots of things are different.

But I did get a set of FSM and the Unit repair. Wiring diagrams too.

My latest ISSUE or problem is the Farking weather. we had record warm few months but as soon as I found out about this gasket its been snowing and freezing.
Its not my daily, the garage is full of el camino and I have a 98 XJ Jeep.

So it will have to wait for some 50's. Wont be long.....

I found a good coolant sensor for the side of the block.
TS-76 is the part number that worked for me. It in the book as Gauge only/no light.

I have flushed the system with 2 bottles of Thermocure Rust stuff.
I am on the third fill of water and its mostly clear after 100 miles. So I will be putting in a new antifreeze mix next week sometime.

I installed the rear Bilstein shocks.
I found that the original rear shocks were still in there.
I found a 1989 Date code on them.
Some quick pics

with Front Bilstein

Hellwig 1 3/8 front sway bar
It's all in but I'm not happy with the mounting. I need some small o.d. washers and greasable bushings. I ordered some from ES.

Next: Rear Hellwig but could be next week.
