Mine's pretty much in the stock location, it's a long-case thrush, still has popping coming down from high RPMs. If you keep a light foot, you'll be fine.

No light foot here haha im fine with crackle when decelerating/ engine breaking, just not when its real raspy throughout acceleration, i like a smooth sound

My magnaflows are really smooth when accelerating, a little quiet for my taste though...I think you'll be happy with spintech

I'm an odd ball but I just finnished up redoing my exhaust today. Y pipe right at the back of the cab 4" mbrp stainless straight through mffler and 4" 6.5 TD tail pipe with 5" double wall stainless tip. kinda snapy sounding but deep at about 4000 and up. not sure I like it yet going to do more research on the magna flow VT. Next

surprise, az
You dont want the pipe to be to big or else you will lose your back pressure which will decrease your compression and power, i wouldnt run 3.5" piping on a gas engine truck even if it is single pipe
