The last 9011/9012 bulbs I bought did not have glare dipping on either type; they were Sylvania-Osram. I'm running all high beam bulbs behind the Anzo low brow housings with built in glare caps. The throw pattern is a joke, and the brightness is depleted terribly. Im chalking this up to the glare caps and the shape of the reflector.
Again I'll remind that the real tell for me was putting the same, exact same bulbs in my wife's 2005 Suburban, and seeing that they were like goddamn stadium lights compared to mine.
This is all motivating me to start looking for different headlight housings. Thankfully I haven't trashed my OEM's, because I'll probably use the mounting plates from them with whatever I buy.
