Hello - New Owner

Picking up a 1988 C1500 tomorrow. It was a family truck and I decided to get it for myself. I am super excited and it will be my first truck.

Will not be my daily driver, however I was wondering what I could to make my driving experience more pleasurable. I plan on keeping it stock as possible, I do want a new radio but feel that would take away from the stock look. Adding new tires maybe or freshen up paint?

Hi and welcome. One thing that worked for me to make driving experiance better was to put on wheels with 0 offest (or you can try minus offset) which widened the track and made her feel more stable and planted on the road. Idk about other's experiance but that totaly transformed the driving experiance.
