Fuel injection swap

Ok, so I am about to take the plunge and change my intake. I just wanted to clear something up first. When it comes to wiring the new injectors all the wires necessary are in that large plug that goes into the spider, right? So in order to wire the individual injectors you need to cut off the plug exposing what should be 16 wires. There are 8 pink wires and 8 different color wires each one for a separate injector. My questions are which non pink wires go to which cylinders and does it matter where specific pink wires go or is just one indiscriminate pink wire needed per injector?
