Turns out that the light I bought was for the wrong year. It was advertised as a 2001-2014 part # 15248604, 84933951, which has the right plug to be a direct swap. Turns out it was a 2015+ part # 22836268, 84933950 with the wrong plug. But, I compared it anyways.I bought a bed ID light from a GMT800. It looks like it's a bolt-on replacement for the triple light on the late GMT400...
Dangit! No, I used standard 60 degree lug nuts because that was the part number I found. Doing more research the DRW trucks need the 90 degree lug nuts. The 90 degree lug nuts are about an 1/8" shorter than the 60degree lug nuts, which will solve an issue I've got with the rear caps not being quite as tight as I'd like.Man that setup looks good....
Did you get the right lug nuts for the clamping plate? I saw in another thread where they are 60* seat an not 90* like the 1/2 tons...
