Back fires!!! Heilp!!

I have a 1995 chevy k2500 with a 7.4 and it backfires when in gear and wants to stall/stalls . i already replaced the injector and injector connections and air filter because they were burned, i want to replace the tps and iac but the parts stores ask if it has a speed govonor and i don't know what it is! Cap rotor plugs wires and fuel filter have all been replaced too.

Was it doing it before you replace the cap, rotor, & wires?
I would double check the wires and make sure the firing order is right.
If the wires are right then check for a vacume leak.

Yeah it was doing it before the cap and wires, there was a broken vacumm line, will check/plug, but i still want to replace the tps iac.

Check the base timing. Should be 0 degrees with the ESC wire unhooked.
