my friend has a 2001 chevy z71 and the ac is hot but the compressor is cycling and the ac readings are correct do we have to remove the whole dash to get to the vacuum switch that operates the heater core to turn it on and off or can we just take off the glove box and get to it? any info will be great?

I think your blend door motors could be bad. I got a new compressor and it didn't cool. The blend door motors didn't work to open the doors to let the cool air in.
To get to the blend doors you gotta take apart the dash.
