a/c help needed

i got a 90 k2500. it sat for about five years never touched. i wanted to try to recharge to a/c. i know i have to put the conversion kit r-12 to 134a but dont want to spend to money on it if it dont work. i was told to jump to a/c compresser to see if it comes on before i charge it. i was wondering on how to do it details please...... its hot

Unplug Pressure Cycling Switch (Mounted on Accumulator) jump plug with a paper clip clutch should engage and run

ok i tried it. it tries to engagebut the clutch dont come out. im guessing its rusted fast since it sat for five years any ideas or im i better off buying a new one?

spray it with pb blaster see if it frees up

pressure wash it and then some type of break free some type of lube!
