It turns out it was the wire to the Knock Sensor. The insulation on it and another wire next to it melted from being just under the exhaust manifold. It appears voltage from the other wire was crossing to the **** Sensor wire and sending voltage back to the ECM. I pulled the two apart and now it runs way better. I order another sensor and pigtail and will swap it out next weekend. Sometimes its a relief and an annoyance when is something that simple. I chased my tail on this one.
