I'm looking at GMT400s again and I would prefer to go with a 2500 big block. I found out that the TBI 7.4L has 230-255hp/385-405tq while the Vortec 7.4L has 290hp/410tq
Since I might want to lift it a bit (3" body lift?), I'm wondering if the 454 TBI will have plenty of power or if I should get a Vortec truck instead?
If I get a TBI what are the best cheap & easy ways to get more power out of it in a way that will still pass California smog? Thanks all!
