i have a 5/7 drop on a 1994 1500 obs, however i have a huge problem..i can't find any tires that fit. i tried on a set of 275/40/20 as well and they didn't fit, they rub on my fenders pretty bad. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

You're going to need something in the 255/35/20 or maybe 245/40 in the front.

My truck is a 2" spindle & a 3" spring with a 1/4 coil trimmed off with 255/35/20 it works pretty well but i still rub the inner fenders at times.

My specs are 20x8.5 w/ 5.25" backspacing w/ 255/35/20 front & 20x10 w/ 5.5 bs w/ 275/35/20 rear

Gorgeous truck! :waytogo: Reminds me a lot of my red '97, neat to kind of see what it would look like lowered with some nice wheels.

I just bought a truck with the same drop and 265/35/20s. They rub occasionally when turning or hitting a dip. Not sure on wheel specs. Like I said, I just bought it...

I found a wheel that I like, but they only come in 20x8 and 20x9.5 for our bolt pattern. (I really wanted a 20x8.5 and 20x10.)
The backspacing on the 20x8 is 4.5" and on the 20x9 is 5.25". Are these still doable on a 5/7 drop? I was wondering if the 8" wide wheel would look silly up front.

I would probably go with:
245/40 on the 20x8 front tire
275/40 on the 20x9.5 rear tire (maybe a 285/40)

Does anyone here run 8" & 9.5" wheels instead of the normal 8.5" & 10"?

I'm thinking those wheels don't have nearly enough backspacing, but let me know your thoughts.
