4l60e been rebuilt months ago hasnt seen many miles since

runs through gears fine up to about 55 then flops over into final drive or overdrive

have to slow down to about 45 before it goes back up a gear and has power

really really annoying,

ive been told i need to calibrate my speedometer and my 35"s are confusing it

but i dont recall the thing doing that when i first installed it

Sounds like it's shifting normally. Your main problem is the oversize tires. Depending on your gear ratio you need a drastic upgrade there. Correcting the speedometer won't correct the loss of mechanical advantage to due to oversize tires.

i have a 14sf gutted in my garage and an elocker, 4.88 gears, and a install kit in my room here,

just saving money to have it put together,

i still need the rear drum parts for the 14sf, and the front ring and pinion and master install


so if i regear it then use a tuner to calibrate speedo and trans will it act like normal?

no promises but u def. need a regear with the 35s, sounds like a typical 4l60e to me
