Half Assed
WINNERS NEVER LIFT
I added 4 tone cadillac horns to my truck today. The old ones that were really loud and sounded like a train.
I pulled mine of a 1990 cadillac fleetwood brougham. I read somewhere that they were an option, so not all caddys had them. Cadillac horns are 4 horns, F-note, A-note, C-note, and D-note. They can be found on caddys from the 70s to the early 90s. Ones from the 60s are different, but better and harder to find.
I didn't even realize these are the same ones that are on my truck already. My 97 already had F and A note, as do many GMs from the 90s. The C-note and D-note is what gives it that distinctive sound. You can't even buy the C-note anymore.
I used a relay on the 2 extra horns with a signal tapped from the factory horn wires. Do not add these to you factory harness, they will probably blow the fuse.
grille barely fit back on with the horns mounted to the cooler bracket
