1995 silverado puffs a cloud of smoke on startup

ive had an issue with every time i start the truck (no matter if it sits a day or 10 minutes) where it will puff a cloud of bluish smoke when i start it up. afterwards it wont blow any smoke while its running or driving.

Measure the oil consumption. If it is not using a lot of oil, then just don't look behind the truck on startup!

As stated, vavle seals. They can be done with the motor in the truck.
