1995 GMC K2500 engine issue?

Either you have wildly-high oil pressure (20W-50 oil???) or the oil sending unit/gauge is inaccurate.

Verify with a known-good gauge.

5W-30 conventional oil. I'll have to check how I can verify the pressure....I'm not sure how to go about that. I'll check on it! I know the temp gauge also reads low when at normal temps.
