1990 k1500 upper control arm bushing sleeves

I'm replacing the front suspension components on my 1990 k1500. I bought a poly bushing kit last year. I ended up buying new upper control arms from mevotech but as it comes with rubber bushing I would like to use the poly bushings. I can't figure out how or even if you can remove the rubber...
