Nv5600 mated to a 6.0. Possible?
I’m completely restoring a 1990 gmc k1500 5 speed manual. I’m eventually going to do a 6.0 swap? Has anyone ever mated up a nv5600 to a lq9. Also more specifically, has anyone ever done it in an OBS. Just wondering about mounting it, making it to the 6.0, and how the interior situation would...- UtOBS

1997 c1500 5.7 carb
So I have a 96 c1500 that has the stock trans but I’m putting a carbureted engine into the question is will the trans work without all the electronics on the engine and if not for anyone that has what did you buy to make it work- vizionwolf

How much HP&TQ can a stock 94 manual transmission handle?
I have a 1994 1500 Chevy Silverado and I am doing an engine swap either to a 383 or just go with a new 350 but was not sure how much the trans can handle in terms of HP&TQ? (Horsepower and Torque)- slothonpluto

NEED HELP 1995 GMC C1500 5.7 TBI REBUILT 4L60E Limp Mode No Codes Stuck In 3rd Gear
Truck has almost 300k miles engine runs great. I just had the transmission rebuilt from AAMCO less than a month ago and its been back 2 times already. I honestly dont think they have a clue what the issue is. I was driving to work one morning a few weeks after the rebuild and about 10 mins away...- 350TBI

4-high to get home, or call a tow??
tranny blew out on my K2500. what's the risk vs reward of disconnecting rear shaft and truck'n home in 4-high? (obviously not trying to meet highway speeds).- DTG_

Hey this is my first forum but I have a 99 k1500 classic so it’s pretty much a 98. I just lifted it and but 35s on it I pull trailers here and there but I’d eventually like to start taking it mudding.
