Engine Probs. What's This Sound Like? (video)

1997 K1500 with the 5.7 Vortec. about 165k. After this started I changed the spark plugs to no avail. I have a feeling its something worse such as a bent valve or something. It happend when I floored it from a stop to get ahead of someone while I was fully loaded with two dirtbikes, gear, 10...

97 K1500 Selector Won't Go Into 1, Also Not In Proper Position When D Is Selected

I'll take a look at it and see if its rusted. Ok cool. If my cable is rusted I'll end up replacing it. Will this be fixed if I replace the cable? How hard is the cable to replace?

Update: The selector does lock out of reverse. the reason I thought it did not was because it is already out of the latch part when it is in gear because it is out of adjustment. If I put it slowly into N so that it drops into the notch and then try to push it into R it wont go unless I pull...

Hey guys and gals, picked up a 97 K1500 about a month ago. Gear selector is off. When I pull the lever all the way down the lowest it will go is 2. and when its in D its supposed to be level and "latched" would be the best way I can explain it. Currently when it is in OD it is in the approximate...

Driver Wiper Going Off Windshield

Already adjusted under the cowl as much as possible. and the ball/socket joint is straight. I'm going to get the assembly from one in the junkyard that is straight and see if that fixes it. ill post back with results. thanks everyone.

If I had a grinder I would. And I don't know if I that tab helps with keeping it from slipping.

Driver Wiper Going Off Windshield

hey guys quick issue. my driver side wiper goes off the windshield. I've adjusted the wipers at the rotator as much as possible but its not enough. I also tried pulling the wiper arm off and reinstalling angled correctly but there is a tab on the round part the arm goes onto preventing it...
