Right. I agree it doesn't look right on the truck. I think it would give it a newer, more updated look as well as fitting the truck better.

I would do the 94+ Chevy, but I've never been a huge fan of the open mouth look on the GMC personally.

    My slow ECSB build!

Thanks guys. More low is in the near future. I really wanted a set of 20s to drop it down on, but these wheels keep growing on me.

    My slow ECSB build!

Thanks guys. It runs great! It looks a little better without 6 months worth of dust on it, and a front clip back on there. It actually looks like a truck again haha.

    My slow ECSB build!

Not the best, but I had to get one. Professional iPhone photographer. I'm available for hire too, $100/hr haha.

    My slow ECSB build!

Insured, and plated the truck Thursday. Bought a new distributor, a new cap, and rotor on Friday.. fired the motor for the first time a couple hours ago. It runs! Still have to set the timing, and adjust valves before I can drive it. I'm beyond excited. I'm going to try to get it cleaned...

    Save me $100? Help!

That's what I figured, and why I asked. I hit it with a wire brush, and it cleans up okay, but it just looks iffy haha. Thanks guys.

    Save me $100? Help!

Finally got it, and this is what it looks like now. Worth cleaning up with a new pickup coil, or just buy a new distributor?

    Save me $100? Help!

Need to replace the pickup coil on the distributor, and in order to get the old one off I have to remove the cam gear. This is where I'm having an issue, I cannot for the life of me make this little pin budge. Any tips?

    My slow ECSB build!

You could always donate one of those Montes to me! I know how it can be a problem choosing which car to drive, or work on haha. It would be really cool having matching trucks though.

    My slow ECSB build!

No idea how to multi quote on tapatalk, but.. I hope it's as fun as it sounds, it's almost ready to start up, but it needs a few more things, and bills come first haha. Thanks! Do it! Everyone should have something low haha. This one will be on the ground before too long, it will just be...

Nice! Looks like a clean start. Slightly jealous of your buckets, they would look great in place of my bench haha.

    My slow ECSB build!

Thanks! It's been fun so far, but I'm more than ready to finish putting it together so I can hear it fire up, and start planning more things for it. Yeah I got very lucky. She actually loves being in the garage. Not just helping either, if I'm busy she will jump under the hood, and start...

    My slow ECSB build!

Well my name is Justin, just picked up a new to me 1994 C1500 with a 5.7L. It will be a slow build as it will have to be my daily driver, but I'll try to keep the thread active! I figured I would go ahead and start this to keep track of everything though. When I finally got it home with the...

Thanks guys! Not sure where that is, I literally just moved down here from Indiana haha. It needs some love, it has almost 400k miles on the body, but I like it. Here's another picture, from the previous owner before he tore it down, and lost 50% of the parts lol.

Hey everyone! My name is Justin, I'm 24, and I live in Lexington, KY. Found this site the other day while browsing another forum, and this is much more specific, so I thought I would join up! This is how my '94 sits at the moment, waiting for a new distributor, and to get fired up for the...
