What tool set should i get?

I was at Lowes lookin at the Kobalt ratchets and I must say I am impressed with how smooth the teeth are on them.....I would much rather have some USA ratchets like SK or Williams, etc. but the Kobalt ones are pretty good Taiwan made ratchets.

Long Beds vs. Short Beds

I suppose putting a ladder rack on a short bed helps for loading more stuff on top....when I do end up buying a 98 silverado short bed from my relative I'm gonna put a ladder rack on it.

haha LOL, I noticed the other day that who ever previously had my truck didn't put the springs in the door when they re installed the doors.SMH.:nono:

I might be in the same boat soon, if all things go as planned I'm gonna buy a 98 C1500 ECSB from a relative and it has only 150k mileage.

My brother's truck starts w/o key in the ignition.

I went to go look at my brother's new 1991 GMC truck yesterday and it starts right up with out the key in the ignition. Has anybody else here ever had this problem? Is there a easy way to fix it, or maybe he needs to buy a whole new ignition or something?

Long Beds vs. Short Beds

If I had to get a short bed it would need an extended cab......not a big fan of reg-cab short beds.

Which one do you guys like better? I prefer long beds, you could fit much more stuff if you are using it as a working truck and I actually think the long bed looks better.

What tool set should i get?

The only problem with Craftsman is that most of their new tools are made in China now. Their USA made tool sets are still on the shelf at most stores but their ratchets suck, get better ratchets and keep the sockets is what I would do.
