    Any idea on how to open or take out the lock cylinder on a center console door for my 1990 Silverado? The key goes into the cylinder and spins and spins. If I end up drilling the lock cylinder out, where do I get a new one aside from GM, if they have? Thanks for any info or ingenious ideas...

    Did plugs about 5,000 miles ago. Again, this problem only happens at idle. Upon acceleration, no hesitation or issues.

    As the title states, under no throttle my 1990 454SS 127K runs like it has a lumpy cam, but under throttle it runs OK. Also has a gas like, but not pure gas odor. Does it have something to do with anything vacuum related or is there an idle adjustment that worked its' way loose or broke?

    I used allegedly, because it is not fixed. What is happening now is that it cannot idle without stalling. Once we let off of the accelerator it stalls. Driving, it may sputter here or there, but it goes. However, at the light, I have to do the two step and keep the accelerator pressed down...

    Well I changed the fuel pump today. Ran for a few minutes, then cut out, just like before. So the fuel pump and fuel filter is ruled out. Almost as if it cuts out automatically, no hesitation or running rough or anything. What else do I check/change?

    For giggles I put in a new fuel filter hoping the cheapest fix will take care of the problem but no go. Starts, sometimes, runs, now has a better fan of fuel in the TBI bowls, but then stalls out. Doesn't seem to hesitate or sputter, just stalls out.

    Very confused on this one... My 1990 454SS with @ 122,000 miles, starts, runs ( hear the fuel pump in the tank when I turn the key), then either shuts off on it's own after 5-10 minutes and does not restart (upon re-cranking no fuel is going into the TBI) or if I turn it off after idling...

    Will one set of supports (legs) from the drivers bucket work on a bench from a 1991? If it will bolt up, how about the spring mechanism to make it go back and fork?
