air in cooling system?

hey guys i have this issue with my truck a 90 k1500 5.7 tbi, i replaced the water pump, and i noticed when starting in the morning to go to work, the temp gauge goes way high and then drops down, after this initial thermostat open it's fine the rest of the time i'm driving until it cools down...

anyone? RCSB wheel to wheel side steps?

i found on realtruck.com they have Iron Cross 3" wheel to wheel side steps for a regular cab 6.5' bed, i cannot find any pics of a standard cab short box with wheel to wheel bars on them... anyone have any or a pic?

anyone running a led tailgate light bar?

i got one for christmas from LMC Truck and not 4 days later the thing don't work, there is a sealed controller and the 12v wire corroded and fell off.... just wondering your thoughts or brands you use? i need to call lmc and see if they'll send me another one.. when it was working it was nice

power steering problem

hey guys i have a 90 sport 4x4, i've replaced the power steering pump and hoses due to a leak, but i have a weird issue now and i'm leaning towards the box, i've been feeling almost like the steering slips just a tad from the steering wheel when i turn it about a quarter turn only, this has been...

lost all my oil on the highway...oil cooler

so driving to work without any signs what so ever, i lost all my oil, last minute i saw some smoke out the back, i quickly checked oil pressure and i had it, next thing i knew tick tick, no oil pressure, i killed the motor and coasted to the side, i was about a mile from work, i grabbed some oil...

opinions please, i bought a truck now looking at another...

i bought a 1990 k1500 sport 5.7 4x4 z71 245k miles currently, engine/tranny and transfer case were swapped out, truck runs great, regular cab short bed onyx black exterior red interior, my girlfriend hates the interior and there is no extra space (extended cab), i've done a few fixes to it, and...
