    1998 chevy k2500HD 5.7 vortex Brought my truck into a garage for some repairs apparently I have a cracked intake manifold, the person that's going to be doing the repairs said it took them 2 weeks to even find stock ones I can't wait that long so I was wondering if there's any after market ones...

    Yeah I unplugged the fuse after I left work it hasn't pumped back on me but my rear brakes locked from not a hard stop I'll have to do a little more testing tomorrow but seems my rear might be messed up too :(

    Yeah I think before I head out to school I'm going to take the abs fuse out and see how it handles if anything might just keep it without abs until I can start slowly throwing parts at it

    Last year when I got the truck I was told it was a plow truck for about 8+ years I'm hoping it's not too stuck, I replaced the wheel hub and rotor, did my brakes recently so I'm a little familiar with the front end brake system. I'll give a look at connectors when it's not raining if needed...

    The light was on for the speed sensor, but it's just gone off for some reason the speedometer is still reading speed but incorrectly ( was doing that before it went off too) but my next off day without rain I'll see what I can do to bleeding and check the connections for the speed sensors thank you

    Honestly this is my first vehicle and it was rednecked a bit so I don't fully know what everything should look like, I'll give a shot to bleeding before I spend money (I'm broke) if that doesn't fix the problem then new speed sensors. I'm guessing the sensor wire is the one that runs right on...

    98' Chevy k2500 HD 5.7 vortec, the abs light was on before but a code came up for a speed sensor. Recently the lights been going out and my abs is acting up worse than it usually did, I'll press on the pedal and the pedal will start forcing itself back up and unlock the wheel also this happens...

    Yeah I think the fan problem is caused because the switch to control the speeds busted but since I unplugged the fuse it's been sitting steady one tick after half, yeah no I didn't run any tests just tossed them in lol thank you I'll get those all tested tomorrow

    I'll have to check that once I'm out of work, the power and ground if I remember correctly are 8 gauge, the ground is under my carpet connected to my cab the metal is bare no paint

    I don't know where the fuse is if you're talking about in the fuse box it's 15A but if it was drawing more than it should, wouldn't it be sitting lower than half? Because it dips down then goes right back to half

    But wouldn't it be consistent then? My friends dad when he has his sound system going it will drop and stay at that level mine goes right back it's just random then returns to normal

    I'll have to give that a try I don't remember if it did it before that or not, I started driving in Feb last year and was gone the whole summer so basically had my blower on since I got back from bct. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow thank you

    I'm guessing that's for the plow but I don't have one on when it does it, just added the plow info because there's a lot of wiring for it in my truck
