The comprehensive vortec swap thread?

hey guys, I am looking to do a swap in my 96 GMC sierra sooner than later but cant seem to find a spot that has all of the info I'm looking for, so if anyone could chime in and let me know what works and what doesn't that would be great. My questions entail- Can you use any SBC chevy...

multifunction switch issues.

Hey guys, so i thought i had a multifunction switch that was bad, replaced it with a ebay one, went through all of the work to switch it and no it acts funny and it wasnt even the switch thats bad, its the friggin pulse board. So i was just posting to rant a little and see if anyone else...

anyone running 255/85/16's?

anyone running a 3" body lift on 5 speed truck?

I have a 5 speed 1996 gmc sierra, and im worried that when i go body lift, my shifter will be too short. Also i am worried when i do the body lift my exhaust and everything will look goofy. lol Anyone have any comments on either one of these topics?

Any lifted long beds out there?

Im new here and been searching through thread after thread of pictures and have yet too see a built long bed chevy, anyone out there have 4 or 6 " lift or bigger on a long bed?
