no spark! Im desperate

Okay so we finally figured it out. The ignition control module that we were sold was bad, we replaced it and it started. They're dialing in the distributor now, I'm not sure of the numbers. Moral of the story is don't trust the parts that you replace. Hopefully we will get the distributor all...

We got a new pigtail for the crankshaft position sensor, and got that code to go away, the only code now is the evap code. I have three mechanics looking at this truck and no one seems to be able to figure this out. Still no spark. The only thing I can think of now is the four pronged pig tail...

Thought I would also throw in my codes. I am getting p0336 crankshaft position sensor circuit range/performance and p0452 evaporative emission control low input. which is probably unrelated. Crankshaft position sensor is new.

So I see other no spark threads and I promise I have read them all. I am in desperate need of some help. This was supposed to be an easy distributor swap. 1998 C3500 5.7 Vortec. Original problem was that the truck would start, and grumble and backfire and stumble, but eventually would level out...
