Stock Ubolt Replacement
I just installed 9/16 U bolts on drivers side of my K1500. My torque wrench crapped out on me so I tightened as much as I could with cheater bar and d U bolts still backed off- SB71

Stepside beds and dually fender repair. SMC not fiberglass..
Is a 1997 stepside made out of SMC or fiberglass as well? I feel foolish asking such but I really don't know. Thanks for any replies. Edit: Nevermind it's SMC. I didn't know that. Ya learn something every day.- SB71

Door Sill Plates
An old thread I know, but what type of screws does it take for the door sill for a 97 K1500. Mine are so rusted can't tell if it takes a Phillips head or star bit or what? Thanks -

97 K1500 Z71 ext cab stepside
Part number 37-7230 is closest part # LMC have but it's for a regular cab stepside. I need extended cab stepside. Thank you for that link tho- SB71

Hi from Indiana. I got a 97 K1500 Silverado Z71 offroad. Got 190,000 on this 5.7 Vortec. Runs good but dealing with rusted out extended cab corners. I've looked everywhere for stainless rocker covers and ext cab corner covers with no success. I've been all over ebay and the LMC catalogs. Would...- SB71
