I think you are right. I cannot find info on any 98 truck or 99 yuk/hoe having any kind of control module. However I have a 10 second prime. No doubt about it. Playing with TBI just mentioned a hot fuel module. Look that up and read a description of what it does. Based on my research it would not matter what pcm you have. It overrides the pcm and runs the fuel pump after shut off to keep the fuel cool as temperatures rise under the hood. I suppose that...- GarmrYuk

Huh? That is strange. Since I have owned this thing it has ran the fuel pump for a few seconds when I switch the key to the off position. The pump doesnt prime when I turn the key. Under normal circumstances if you turn the key on it should prime. Let it finish priming and turn the key off and it should run the pump again but I think for not as long. This is something that the ecm does by signaling the 85 pin on the fuel pump...- GarmrYuk
