    Short bed dually box

Yup. That's the one I remembered. Did anyone come up with the recent fbook listing on it?

First real test drive today, after V8 swap.

I haven't read this whole thread but I think a partially plugged radiator and or faulty thermostat, fan clutch might be the culprit to the higher temps. Would pulling timing out of it at WOT likely cause it to go rich rather than lean?

4l80 jumping back and forth 3/4

Try this little test. While driving when it does this lift up slightly on the shift lever. Not enough to change gears but just a little bit toward neutral.

Oh my. It has been a long time then. I'm curious to see what it looks like now too. You had, at one time, about a 58 Chevy truck with 6.2 turbo or something like that. Dually? Long gone I guess?

Hey Richard. I ran across this pic recently and thought this one might have belonged to you for some reason. Don't know how long I've had the pic. Not sure what forum it was posted on. Is this one you owned some time in the past? Just curious on the particulars and what became of it. 1/2 ton...

    1989 radio suggestions

There are 3 levels of that RetroSound Santa Cruz radio and 3 prices, for the factory placement. I bought mine from Crutchfield. No cd player but it does have the cable to hook up to your phone, etc. I put one of these in my 91 and am reasonably pleased with it. Maintaining the look of the...

    Lowering a 4x4

I don't know if it has been mentioned but for those who only want a small drop on their 4wd, you can remove those 2" spacers over the rear axle then crank down the front torsion bars for that small drop. l followed that Power Nation lowered AWD build and think it was awesome. I pondered the...

Wanting to lower a 2wd c1500 and looking for suggestions

On the door lock actuators, I suggest removing the door latch assemblies to clean and lube them, then add a bit of lube to the linkages anywhere it runs through a plastic guide. Old grease gets hard over time.
