Sanden 4440 install
Your Sanden compressor comes prefilled with pag46 Oil that it calls for, don't add any oil. Also your Sanden works like 4 stroke engine, the pag46 stays in the crankcase. Your old compressor was like a 2 stroke engine and the oil circulates through the system.- Paul 97 tahoe

cold air intake
We have run a Volant cold air intake on 3 OBS trucks and are really happy with it. It draws cold air though the fender too. We have run the "dry" filter one just because I have never been a fan of an oil bath air filter on a truck, they are high maintenance but the oil bath one does flow...- Paul 97 tahoe

Synchromesh Fluid
Run Amsoil signature series ATF, way better then the AC Delco or any of the others. You will never regret it.- Paul 97 tahoe

Eye Candy
We usually buy the cheapest Rock Auto's Mevotech upper control arm (is the same control arm and bushings as the more expensive one) and has the "bolt-in" ball joint too. Then we just throw way the the cheap ball joint that comes with it, and replace it with the TTX one. P/S Love the eye candy!- Paul 97 tahoe

The Cunningham Machine ones are just stronger then the stock ones. I had bought some other brand of "solid adjusters" too before I found the Cunningham Machine ones which were even nicer.- Paul 97 tahoe

Drilled/slotted or smooth rotors?
I think drilled and slotted rotors gives you way better braking, and better brake "feel" too. I have run them on many cars and trucks myself. The only drawback I have found is you will go through brake pads faster, but to me that's a small price to pay to have way better braking. As far as pads...- Paul 97 tahoe

Disc brake upgrade
Proverbs 23:9: "Don't waste your breathe on a fool. We have installed like 5 or 6 Little Shop rear disc brake conversion kits on OBS Chevy trucks/Tahoes over the years with master cylinder upgrade ect.
