Ok,,here goes,,1993 c-3500,454 engine,,no spart,no nothing,,,replaced dist and coil as suggested,,yea,it ran,timed it ,4 degrees btc,it is nuts on,pluged bypass wire in,everything seened great. Damn,took it out on test drive,ran so sweet till around 40 mph,then all hell broke...- Bill Hyde

No start and no run
1993 c-3500 duelly just stopped running. Saw a fix that said to replace tach feed wire and it will run..How will replacing the tach feed wire fix the problem? I did take the dist cap off and the dist was nothing but rust and corrosion. Ordered new dist and coil. Help! Oh,the tach went nuts...- Bill Hyde
