    Defrost trouble

    Hi question 88 Chevy Silverado. My defrost isn't blowing but everything else switches and works. I'm wondering where the defrost door is? Any ideas what i could try? The actuator by the gas pedal seems to be moving and tried to lube it best I could. Maybe it's still faulty ?

    Timing

    Truck runs great no issues. Just noticed when its warmed up and accelerate it makes a "dieseling" noise then goes away. Usually just happens when you tap the gas. Im going to check and set timing , could be advanced to much?

    Temp gauge

    My temperature gauge has been going pretty high but engine /rad doesn't seem to be very hot to the touch. Its a 88 silverado 1500 5.7. Was sitting a few years. I was thinking of doing the new thermostat and temp sensor. Is the only temp sensor on the 88 beside the housing?

    Hey guys I recently picked up a 88 silverado regular cab was sitting for years in a field. The ducts have mice nest in them I can see when I look down the defrost and its not blowing assuming its plugged. Whats the best quickest way to get it all cleaned out?

    Hello quick question. Is it possible to bypass the AC and air pump on a 88 chevy 1500 with the correct belt or do you need the aftermarket pulley in place for the AC?

    Rough idle

    Recently got a 91 Chevy going after sitting for few years. Did the fuel pump, o2 sensor . When cold start it idle really rough and goes up and down and almost dies. Then driving seems rough till its warm then drives pretty good. Any ideas

    Will be getting a new fuel pump was just wondering if I should get the whole assembly or just the pump itself? What's the differences ? Thank you for your help its a 91 gmc 1500 2wd
