    95 Burb with ticking noise

    Many thanks to whoever replied & told me to do valve adjustment. Just finished the valve adjustment & I am very pleased I found this site!! I have 94 Sierra with a blown head gasket so if you all can advise....I'm open to learning more from you on the site. Thanks again!!

    Need help 95 Suburban motor noise? I have a 95 Suburban 1500SLT w/ a valve slap sound coming from the area of #1 cylinder. I put oil additive in & had stopped the noise, then it returned. More additives not quieting the sound. Is this the end of my motor or could it be something else?

    Valve slap and cracked head.

    I have a 95 burb w/ nasty valve slap in #1 cylinder. Put additives in & sound went away, now it's back. What can I do? 1994 SIerra 2500 w/ blown head. How hard is replacement of gasket?
