Picky 4.3Any help

1996 chevy Cheyenne. Long story short, second engine after 600 miles on a mabbco long block, started knocking. This one was machined correctly and assembled over the winter by me, with meticulous attention to detail. I cant get it to start. distributor is correct position, dead on 6 mark...

I have bought 2 motors and both were junk. i can post pics and videos of the 4.3 they built. Also bought a hemi Both motors started knocking 4.3 600 miles and had a lifter tick, only to find out there were mismatched used lifters, have pics. The motor never had any power. I still have...
