454ss axle

On my 1990 454ss I believe I have a bent axle which has a 5x5 lug 14 bolt rear end. I went to try and find one to replace it but cant seem to find the right one. the only thing that comes up is the 8.5 ring gear and i have the 9.5 i believe. Does anyone know where to find one?

So just cut the plugg off and connect it to.the other wire?

I have a 1990 454ss. Can I use a single wire alternator? if so what do i do with the exciter wire. Truck will be carbureted. Would i want 100 amp or 140 alternator?

Testing electrical with no engine

I bought a 1990 454ss with no engine or transmission. I wanted to hook a battery up to it to see if the lights work and such. I grounded the battery and hooked the positive up to what I believe would go onto the alternator. I did this and the headlights came on along with running lights but no...

1990 454ss rearend compatibility
