As of right now my crewcab is a roller I haven't install the motor yet. My truck was a diesel so it doesn't have smog at all ever. That's also another reason why I dont wana sell its.

Iam thinking maybe I'll be towing weight wise with trailer and vehicle max 8k anything bigger ibe got diesel buddys. My 98 k1500 tow a 4x4 2 Door Tahoe lifted on 35s from Tracy ca to Sacramento ca just fine did 55 the while way home didn't miss a beat. So that would be the most I'd do with this...

So looked up some spec and the its only 2k difference in max tow weight 8k is perfect for what iam doing

? Why would I not be able to tow or haul much ? The rear-end is still gana be a 14 bolt out of a 2500. Just gana be a srw iam getting ride of the dully look

Thanks for the info. Iam just being difficult and different lol. Iam basically take my c3500 longed dully and convert its to a c2500 shortbed. The only reason I thought about going 6 lug was the wheel choices. If it's not doable then I'll just leave the 8 lug setup and find some wheels I like in...
