Key in ignition sound

I had a shift cable installed and when I got the truck back the ignition alarm will not turn off. Mechanic can't help, any ideas? It is a 1996 K1500. Thanks, Brian

Rear can brackets

Hello, Looked around in here and was not able to find either a place to buy or a good plan on replacing the rear can mounts on my 1996 C1500 standard cab Silverado. Any advice or help would be appreciated. I also checked LMC Truck and I could not find any in the catalogue and as of this post...
