What GMT400 parts are unobtainable in 2019?

Once again, thanks to everyone who has replied to this thread! Even if it’s been derailed a few few times it’s all good. It’s really valuable knowledge to know what to look out for on these trucks in the future. I’ll keep browsing the site and learning until I find that dream Suburban. Cheers!

Thanks to everyone who has replied! It’s giving me a good idea of what to expect should I find my perfect Suburban. It’s too bad GM doesn’t support older vehicles. Nissan, Land Rover and Mercedes Benz all have new parts available for many of their iconic vehicles. I guess to GM these trucks are...

Hi all, First off, this forum is great, it’s nice to see so many people who like the GMT400 type trucks. My dad bought a new 1997 Suburban 1500 4x4, had it for a few years and it was great. He misses it and I wish I had bought it from him. So I think I want one now but I’ve narrowed my search...
