i agree 100% with you. i cant remember how many times i was worried about a situation and it worked out very well once i got to that point. YAMAHA17 you will be fine. you have way more tools than most guys i have seen do their first bag job. one thing i will note is the biggest pain in the...

    Twin Subs, 1999 K1500 and C1500

dont ever go to the metal unless you have too. just feather out any hard lines and edges and make sure its scuffed and VERY clean before paint. you will see all the dents and dings once you paint it.

    Long tubes? Or short?

thats what i did. they cut one short and gave it a small turn and it cleared the cross member. it was close on the driver side. when using the patriots they didnt have an o2 bung on passenger side so i had them put one in at the collector adapter because i didnt want them to mess up my...

How bad are clearance problems with a 5/7 drop?

i am 5/7 in a tahoe and i have no issues. i used stock springs instead of the drop springs. flip kit in rear. had to clearance a cross member for drive shaft ( its a tahoe). i did the bolt in notch but i welded it and it felt better afterwards. im on 245/40/20 and it has no clearance issues

MPFI spider injector swap/upgrade info and questions thread

you can do it. if your nervous about all the electrical connections just take pictures and tape each connection and label them with numbers. the biggest mistake i see is people missing a plug and not sealing down the upper intake. its a simple job just a tedious one. give yourself ample time...

    Trash power steering pump?

I have seen 2 of those pumps no good right out of the box. I cant say that is your problem but I don't use them for that reason. I would stay away from autozone anything. try to use the same stuff that came from the manufacture. you get what you pay for when it comes to 88-98 chevy stuff.

    Trash power steering pump?

so you replaced pump and pressure line? you used the evo bypass pipe. truck feels fine when driving but at parking speed it feels like the steering gets really hard right? did you use an autozone brand pump?

    BluePrint Engines Reputation?

    BluePrint Engines Reputation?

if you wanna make 400 i would carb swap and trans swap or get a stand alone controller for trans. the cpi just doesent make good number no matter what you do to it. instead of carb swapping you could always do an efi setup and still make more power than cpi. my truck club is only 88-98 chevys...
