    Gentlemen, out of the blue yesterday my shift lever in my 96 1500 is very difficult to get out of park. I was thinking it's the cable but I can shift it from low to drive with no problem. What's going on with this thing?

    Lol, I loaded up my S10 with topsoil using a 330 CAT excavator once. I tried to sprinkle it in the truck but it came out of the bucket like a loaf of bread. I thought I busted it in half.

    This thing is really a glorified car, other than throwing some light stuff in it, it's pretty much useless. I just got back from Home Cheapo and loaded my K30 to the gunnels with bagged topsoil. I love that thing.

    The other half ton I had was a 1980 Jeep Honcho when I was going through a Jeep phase and it was a toy really. Had a J20 that was an absolute beast. I've had two military M1008/K30's including the one I have now. It's almost impossible to overload it.

    Thanks for the support. The shame of it is, I could put three of those engines on my K30 and it wouldn't even blink. The Detroit is 39 inches long, I'll just put it in the truck sideways up against the headboard. I think that will give me a 60/40 weight distribution. We'll see. Lol

    It's got 164,000 miles on it. It was garaged from November to April by the previous owner. It was serviced religiously. The owners manual pouch is stuffed with service receipts. I drive locally mostly.
